In Republic of Korea, more than 70% of the plastics are buried or burned every year. Almost 86.1% of plastics are being separately discharged by household, but only less than 30% of plastics are actually being recycled. Why? Because people think that they know how to recycle correctly.
매 년, 대한민국에서 소비되는 플라스틱 중 70%가 넘는 양이 땅에 묻히거나 태워집니다. 가정에서 소비되는 플라스틱 중 86%가 실제로 분리 배출되지만 그 중 실제로 재활용이 되는 플라스틱은 30%에 미치지 못합니다. 왜 그럴까요? 대부분의 사람들이 제대로된 분리 배출 방법을 잘 모르기 때문이죠.
